In January, we focused on environmental pollution threatening life below water and life on land and its consequences. The most important factor affecting environmental pollution is human and his actions. As a result of environmental pollution, aquatic and terrestrial creatures are adversely affected, natural resources and biodiversity decrease, ecological balance deteriorates, global warming increases. Also, water saving and water recycling are important for the continuation of life.
In the world created on environmental pollution in Minecraft, students analyzed the problems of people in village and city life and produced solutions to them. Problems solved are listed as follows:
1. Decrease in water resources as a result of global warming and disruption of production in agriculture
2. Factories leave their chemical wastes to the nature
3. Unfiltered chimneys in homes and factories and increased air pollution
4. Water scarcity due to climate change
5. Shortage of water resources and drought
6. Decreasing green areas and affecting natural life
7. Unplanned urbanization and destruction of green areas
8. Pollution due to fossil fuel use
